Spotlight on Georgia: Technology Innovation

See the Spotlight Winners!

Each month, we "spotlight" a school in our service area that is implementing effective technology integration strategies in the classroom. In particular, we are looking for technology innovation that addresses the following Federal Requirements for Educational Technology Plans

  • Academic Achievement & Teacher Effectiveness
  • Professional Development
  • Parental Involvement
  • Innovative Goals
  • Technology and Associated Costs
  • School, District, and Community Collaboration
  • Increased Accessibility
  • Coordination with Other School Resources
  • Accountability
  • Integration of Technology with Curricula and Instruction
  • Strategies for Course Delivery
  • Supporting Resources

We invite all educators in our region to apply for this recognition by filling out the Spotlight application below.

In addition to being featured on our web site, the monthly winners will also receive

  • recognition through local media, at school board and faculty meetings, and at school honor ceremonies

  • a monetary award towards classroom supplies

  • a chance to be chosen to represent our region on Capitol Tech Day, a state-wide effort to demonstrate to legislators the importance of technology in education.
