Technology and the Modern Media Center

SUMMER 2009

The purpose of this course is to provide prospective and current media specialists opportunities to engage in practical, hands-on applications of technology in the media center. In this course, students will work in a collaborative setting to learn about technologies they can use to operate in a 21st Century Media Center.

Who: UGA Graduate Students in the School Library Media Program and Inservice Media Specialists and Support Personnel

What: Attend 5 days of classes the week of July 13-17, M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Credit: UGA students receive 3 hrs. of college credit ($125 materials fee - no textbook)
Inservice professionals receive 5 PLU credits ($250 - 1/2 the regular price!!)

Payment can be made on the first day of class. Make checks payable to UGA ETC.

Where: UGA ETC at Gwinnett, Technology Lab 138. Note: We will be in our new Gwinnett Center.
